What counts as a 'minute'?+
Only minutes Margo actually spends on a live call — measured from answer to hangup, rounded up to the nearest 6 seconds. Voicemails she doesn't answer and abandoned calls don't count.
What happens if I go over my included minutes?+
Overage is $0.28/min on every tier, billed as a line item on your next invoice — we don't run a surprise extra charge in the middle of the month. We email you at 80% and 100% of your monthly pool so you can upgrade first if you want (we prorate).
Why do you make me do a test call before charging me?+
Because every other AI receptionist sounds like a robot and we'd rather you walk away than refund you later. After signup you configure your business, then call your forwarded line and hear Margo answer as your business. Only after you approve does your card get charged.
Is Brazilian Portuguese really included on the $49 plan?+
Yes. English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese on every tier including Solo. Auto-detect with silent switching — no "press 2 for Spanish."
Do I have to change my published phone number?+
No. You keep your number. We give you a Twilio number and you forward your existing line to it on no-answer, busy, or after-hours. Your customers see the same caller ID they always have.
Why is SMS only on Growth and Managed?+
Outbound business SMS requires A2P 10DLC carrier registration, which takes roughly one week per business to approve. Solo skips it entirely and uses email follow-ups so you can go live the same hour. Growth and Managed include SMS — we file the 10DLC paperwork during your onboarding and SMS turns on automatically the moment carriers approve.
How long does setup take?+
Solo: voice answering live the same hour you forward your line. Growth / Managed: voice live the same hour, SMS live ~1 week later once 10DLC carrier registration is approved.
What follow-up does Solo send?+
Email to the caller (when an email is captured on the call) and an owner email summary after every call with the transcript and recording. Booking confirmations also go by email. No SMS, no STOP-keyword headache, no 10DLC filing.
What's the difference between Solo and Growth?+
Solo ($49) is voice answering + post-call email — same-day live, no carrier paperwork. Growth ($249) adds auto-SMS follow-up from your business number, a larger minute pool, and 3 concurrent calls. Pick Solo if email follow-up is enough; pick Growth if you want every caller to walk away with a text.

Every first text includes "Reply STOP to opt out."
When a caller replies STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT, the carrier blocks future messages instantly and we flag the caller as opted-out across every template. HELP returns your business name and a contact line. Both are required by CTIA and 10DLC carrier rules.
"Transactional" means a direct response to that call.
Booking confirmations, reminders, callback notices, quote follow-ups, and directions tied to a specific call — all transactional and unlimited. What's not covered: marketing blasts, promotional offers, or bulk review requests. That's marketing under TCPA and needs separate written consent — Margo won't send it.
Quiet hours are enforced.
No outbound SMS between 9 PM and 8 AM in the caller's local timezone, per TCPA. After-hours callers still get an immediate auto-reply because they initiated the conversation — that's allowed.
A2P 10DLC keeps you out of the spam folder.
